With your generous support, we are seeking donations to help us grow in the upcoming school year. The goals of this fundraiser include securing transportation for off-campus classes through the purchase of a vehicle that can accommodate our group, providing year-round compensation for our dedicated teachers, and exploring property options for a larger, nature-centered location as we expand into offering an outdoor education program.

Founded in 2022, Uncommonly Awesome Learning Lab is a strengths-based, student-centered learning center serving twice-exceptional (2e), neurodivergent, and gifted students. We provide classes, tutoring, and a microschool program that embraces accommodations, advocacy, and the belief that every student learns differently.
Our approach to teaching and learning is:

-
Project-Based – Students design, create, and present individual and group projects for their portfolios.
-
Flexible – We offer full-time and part-time microschool options, along with both in-person and virtual tutoring.
-
Student-Led – Learners pursue their own interests with guidance from teachers, fostering curiosity and independence.
-
Strengths-Based – Coursework builds confidence by focusing on what students do best.
-
Community-Driven – Families, students, and educators collaborate to plan projects, set goals, and create an inclusive space for all learners to thrive.

This year marks the third year of Uncommonly Awesome Learning Lab, and with it has come tremendous growth. For the first time, we have expanded our team by welcoming Olivia and Michelle, whose talents and dedication are already making a wonderful impact. Looking ahead, we are excited about the opportunities before us: pursuing accreditation now that we have reached our third year, preparing to expand into high school by Fall 2026, and exploring an additional location that would give us more space for outdoor learning and allow us to fully integrate a nature-based curriculum into our programs.
